Transformation in the soybean market is inevitable

As soon as in 2000 the soybean appeared on the domestic market, it became one of the main oilseeds in Ukraine. It still occupies an impressive area for sowing, which are intended for other crops, which are more traditional for Ukrainian producers. Thus, the amount of sowing of beans grew to a record 2.2 million hectares in 2016. It is worth noting that in the early 2000s these indicators were not higher than 65 thousand hectares. Throughout this time, there has been a significant increase in yield and an increase in the potential opportunities of the Ukrainian soybean market.According to preliminary data obtained from official statistics, the current year's harvest of soybean is 3.89 million tons, which is 0.4 million tons less than last year. Even in spite of the conditions for increasing the correction of the final result, in the end the soybean crop will not exceed 4 million tons.
