Analysts of UkrAgroConsulting note that 2016-2017 will be remembered by a record rape crop. Agrarians harvested only 1.2 million tons, which is 32% less than in the 2015-2016 season. Three consecutive years, there has been a decline in the amount of oilseed processing, a decrease in production and export of products. At the end of last season, Western partners sold only 1026 thousand tons of rapeseed.Ukrainian oil processing companies were not ready to purchase raw materials. They had to reduce production.This year there is another picture. Rapeseed harvesting has just begun, but it is already clear that the harvest will be good.
