In 2017 Ukraine exported a record amount of flour

Domestic flour is in great demand all over the world and it is a strategically important product for our country, because it produces the products of prime necessity and, in the first place, bread.In June 2017, agrarians sold 42 thousand tons to world markets, which is 43% more than in June 2016.UkrAgroConsulting reports that this season Ukraine broke its own record and exported 408 thousand tons of flour, which is 19% more than in the previous season. Increasing the yield and export of flour is very important for our state. The increase in sales volumes is a sure way of boosting the economy of Ukraine.The main buyer is still China. He gets 20% of the production and is interested in building cooperation.Ukrainian agrarians also export flour to Lebanon, Palestine, Angola, the United Arab Emirates, and Somalia. The countries of the European Union sold flour at 52% more than in 2016, and Georgia bought 70% more.The increase in sales became possible due to the expansion of sown areas, the use of quality seeds and fertilizers, as well as a good harvest, despite the difficult weather conditions.
