Export of sunflower oil from Ukraine to Iraq increased 3.2 times

According to the "APK-Inform" in the period from September to August 2017/18 MY from Ukraine to Iraq, sunflower oil was exported over 260 thousand tons. In comparison with the last season this is 3.2 times more.It should be noted that Iraq has become the main importer of raw Ukrainian sunflower oil among the countries of the Middle East. Such states of this region as the UAE, Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia in the current season significantly reduced the purchase of this product.We remind you that during the period from January to July 2018 Ukrainian seaports provided transshipment of vegetable oils in the volume of 193.89 thousand tons. This is less than in the previous year by 281.45 thousand tons.
