Duties on import of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil in Turkey reduced

Customs duties on the import of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil are reduced in Turkey by the government. The effective date of the decree is August 1, 2018, according to the official data (release) of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey, according to experts of the Zerno On Line agency.The lowest level of the customs price (referential) is now considered to be $ 450 per ton. As a percentage, the duty decreased from 27% to 13%.The state duty on import of sunflower oil in raw form is also lowered - from 36% to 23%. Now the lowest reference price assumes 1000 $ for 1 ton.
