Beginning of soybean harvesting in Ukraine

On August 29, a collection of soybean was started in Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Kiev and Sumy regions. According to Expert Agro, 40 thousand tons of grain have already been received.The harvesting of grain legumes and grains is continuing, the harvest of 9.9 million hectares (67%) has been threshed, 34.4 million tons have been received.Collected:

• early grains and legumes 34.3 million tons from 9.9 million hectares (99.9%);
• buckwheat - from 16 thousand hectares, (15%) 22 thousand tons;
• millet - from 15 thousand hectares (29%) 22 thousand tons.

Collection of technical crops:

• rapeseed - from 1 million hectares (99%) to 2.7 million tons;
• sunflower - from 138 thousand hectares (2%) 241 thousand tons.

Sowing works of winter rapeseed are continuing. Out of the planned 888 thousand hectares, 656 thousand hectares (74%) were sown.Early legumes and grains harvested:

• barley - from 2.5 thousand hectares 7,5 million tons;
• wheat - from 6.6 million hectares 25.1 million tons;
• oats - from 195,2 thousand hectares 451,0 thousand tons;
• rye - from 147.5 thousand hectares 391.6 thousand tons;
• Pea - from 431.5 thousand hectares 801.0 thousand tons.
