The implementation of the Black Sea-Baltic transport corridor Ukraine will allocate additional funds

UkrRudProm reports that the publication "Word and Business" published the results of the annual press conference at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Acting chairman of Ukravtodor Novak Slavomir said that this year from the state budget was allocated 800 million UAH. for the Go Highway project. In 2018, it is planned to invest 4 billion UAH into the strategically important project of the transnational corridor.Experts plan to connect Polish Gdansk in the Baltic with Ukrainian Black Sea ports in Odessa and Nikolaev. Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman confirmed in July this year that the state has already allocated 800 million UAH. and plans to bring the construction of the transport corridor to the end in the next year, investing another 4 billion UAH.In the future, the creation of the international corridor Black Sea - the Baltic Sea - the Caspian Sea is planned. Now experts are actively working on laying routes from Europe to Asia to the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf. The shortest routes are being developed, which will allow transporting goods 2-3 times faster and bypassing the territory of the Russian Federation.
